MIAMI, FL, July 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The American Black Film Festival held their 15th Annual Honors Afterparty at Club Play, Miami this past Wednesday night, sponsored by NBC's "The Playboy Club." Guests, honorees and presenters include Robert Townsend, Bill Duke, Mekhi Phifer, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Lamman Rucker, Jeff Friday, Kenny Burns, Tiffany Davis, Terrell Suggs and the Playboy Bunnies to name a few.
Music was be helmed by Celebrity DJ Shogun, who kept the crowd grooving at the exclusive after party at Club Play, hosted by Aaron Arnold, CEO of Music is My Business & Life Style Specialist/V103's Radio personality, Kenny Burns. Besides celebrating 15 years of ABFF, NBC's new series "The Playboy Club" was honored & its lead star, Naturi Naughton made a special appearance rocking alongside Shogun in the dj booth.
"Its an honor to be tapped again this year to participate in the American Black Film Festival. I'm always excited to support & celebrate Black film. To provide the soundscape for the week and rub elbows with legendary & rising stars is a pleasure," says DJ Shogun after wrapping the annual event.
