The Greater Atlanta HBA began in 1945 under the name Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Atlanta. It then changed to its current name in 1989 to include a wider variety of members. HBA currently has ten Atlanta chapters and eight specialized councils that address the important issues that professionals face in the housing industry.
