The arrival of The Earth Saver Girl
Seven year old Girl to save the Earth

POWDER SPRINGS, GA, July 08, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Earth Saver Girl made her world debut in Marietta's 4th of July Parade. As she made her way through town riding on the Keep Marietta Beautiful float, the crowd cheered and you can hear them repeat her slogan "show the earth some love, don't be a litterbug." You can see the kid's amazement as they saw the little superhero in her beautiful custom made costume. The Earth Saver Girl was charismatic and obliged every picture and autograph seeker. Later The Earth Saver Girl made an appearance in Historic Uptown Marietta's Glover Park. She read a few pages from the book "The Adventures of the Earth Saver Girl, Don't be a Litterbug" which was written by 7 year old Brooklyn. The book explains all about the Earth Saver Girl and how she became a superhero. After reading excerpts from the book she did a skit from the book with assistance of 8 year old Aeneas Dennis. The crowd loved the performance.

The Earth Saver Girl was created by 7 year old author and honor student Brooklyn. Brooklyn's mission is to educate the world about being earth friendly. Her first book "The Adventures of the Earth Saver Girl, Don't be a Litterbug" focuses on the importance of not littering. Brooklyn has a website www.earthsavergirl.com which has games, polls, quizzes, photos and her very own blog! What an amazing little girl.

Brooklyn's mother Kelly is very proud of her and hopes the book not only encourage people not litter but encourage youth to want to write their own books. "The support for Brooklyn, The Earth Saver Girl and the book has been overwhelming. The chant of Earth Saver Girl, Earth Saver Girl at the parade nearly had me in tears" stated her mother.

Brooklyn's favorite part of the day was meeting people who had already read her book. "It's fun talking about the book with other kids who have read my book. They all like the part when I wrote about cigarette butts". As for the future Brooklyn is looking forward to visiting summer camps and her official book release party on July 24th 3-7 pm at Ron Anderson Recreation. The event is called A Day with The Earth Saver Girl. There will be a lot of games, contest, moonwalks, face painting, trivia, food and more.
