Rainbow Cabins Posts 911 Addresses in all Mountain Rental Cabins
North Georgia rental cabins within Fannin County must now prominently display cabin's physical address for visitor safety


EPWORTH, GA, July 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Visitor safety is something rental cabin owners in the north Georgia mountains take very seriously. When someone is an unfamiliar place, it can be extremely difficult and potentially dangerous for them in an emergency. If they cannot explain to emergency services where they are located, it can be potentially deadly. In that spirit, north Georgia rental cabin firm Rainbow Cabins (http://www.rainbowcabins.com/) has posted 911 addresses for each of their cabins in compliance with a new ordinance in Fannin County.

Earlier this year, the Fannin County Board of Commissioners passed an ordinance requiring all mountain rental cabin owners prominently display the street number, road and street name of their respective properties. Additionally, the street number of a cabin must also be posted at the start of the driveway leading to the structure so emergency personnel can easily locate the cabin. A copy of the resolution must also be provided to the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce and all cabin rental providers in the county to ensure compliance.
