Increasing Hispanic Enrollment and Adherence in Diabetes Programs
ROSWELL, GA, February 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr.Dirk Schroeder, ScD, MPH, DrTango's Executive Vice President, will speak at the 33rd Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Diabetes Translation Conference entitled, "Looking to 2010: Keeping Our Eyes on the Prize of Diabetes Prevention and Control", in Kansas City, Missouri, April 13-16, 2010. The conference will bring together more than 600 participants from a wide range of local, state, federal, and territorial governmental agencies and private-sector diabetes partners.
Dr.Schroeder's oral presentation, "Increasing Hispanic Enrollment and Adherence in Diabetes Programs" will address the common barriers health plans & employers face when trying to engage, educate & motivate Hispanics through Diabetes Programs.
Drawing on original research and real world case studies, Dr. Schroeder will present unique motivators and sustainable strategies that have been shown to improve enrollment, adherence and health outcomes of Hispanics.

Dr. Dirk G. Schroeder is the Executive Vice-President of DrTango Inc. He is the author of one book and over 100 scientific articles.
